The KS-GPM-15
is a high-performance horizontal planetary ball mill designed for advanced
grinding, mixing, homogenizing, and mechanical alloying of powder materials.
With a maximum rotation speed of up to 1600 rpm for self-rotation and 400 rpm
for revolution, this system offers unmatched milling intensity and flexibility,
making it an ideal solution for laboratories and research facilities across
materials science, chemistry, metallurgy, and nanotechnology.
This
planetary ball mill supports the simultaneous operation of four milling jars,
each with a capacity of up to 500 ml, allowing for high-throughput sample
processing. The jars rotate on their own axes (self-rotation) while
simultaneously revolving around the central axis of the machine (revolution).
These dual motions create intense centrifugal forces and frictional shear,
resulting in ultra-fine particle size reduction, superior homogenization, and
efficient alloying processes.
Key
Features
- Independent Speed
Control:
The KS-GPM-15 allows users to independently adjust the self-rotation and revolution
speeds of the grinding jars. This feature enables precise control of the
grinding dynamics and energy input, which is especially critical for
processing materials with different hardness, fragility, or chemical
properties. Users can customize the motion profile to achieve optimal
milling or mixing performance. - High-Speed Operation:
- Self-Rotation Speed: 0
– 1600 rpm
- Revolution Speed: 0 –
400 rpm
These speeds provide extremely high centrifugal force, enhancing impact
and shear forces during milling. This results in fine and uniform
particle sizes, ideal for preparing materials for high-precision
applications.
- High Capacity:
The system supports 4×500 ml milling jars simultaneously, significantly
boosting processing capacity and experimental efficiency. - Touchscreen Interface:
Equipped with a modern touchscreen panel, the KS-GPM-15 offers an
intuitive user interface. Users can easily configure rotation directions,
set operating times, and adjust individual speed settings. This digital
control system also enables storage of multiple milling programs for
consistent and repeatable processing. - Flexible Milling
Parameters:
Users can set and modify multiple key parameters including revolution
speed, self-rotation speed, milling time, and rotation direction
(clockwise or counterclockwise). This programmability enables complex
multi-step processes, such as staged grinding or alternating direction
cycles, for optimal dispersion and material breakdown. - Powerful Milling
Performance:
With extremely high impact and shear force, this machine delivers
excellent results in both dry and wet grinding. It can be used for
particle size reduction to below micron or even submicron levels,
depending on the material and processing method. - Durability &
Stability:
The KS-GPM-15 is built with a robust mechanical structure and reinforced
safety shielding. The horizontal layout provides improved balance and
reduced vibration compared to vertical planetary mills, which enhances
operational safety and extends machine life.
Typical
Applications
The
KS-GPM-15 is widely applicable for:
